About Me

A studio artist from a small Wisconsin town, I did what most teachers and creative artists do, find a job, and then start creating art work. 

When my children were young,  I worked in the public school, and then in higher education. As an artist I painted and then went back to graduate school in ceramics. We artists are an eclectic bunch. So, naturally the last twenty plus years I’ve been teaching Graphic Design at Univ. MN-Duluth. 

Along this path, I’ve been in many shows, galleries and on-line sales. Just recently I started a new ceramic wall-hanging collection. These are fun abstract-expressionist figures that are free-hanging on walls or used as tiles and grouted into a background.
